Andre Escalante – Founder/Managing Director

Mr. Escalante hails from Trinidad and Tobago and founded Energy Dynamics Limited in 1998. He is a holder of BSc and an MSc in Engineering and a Global Energy MBA from the University Warwick (UK) with extensive experience within the energy efficiency and air conditioning field. His company has undertaken numerous energy audits (over 400), developed a Corporate Utility Management Program, installed absorption cooling and co-generation systems, solar and biomass renewable energy systems, and other sustainable energy projects for a diverse clientele across the Caribbean.

Mr. Escalante was also a lecturer for the MSc Renewable Energy Technology degree at the University of the West Indies, with specific interest in energy efficiency, energy audits and energy management. He is also a holder of a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification from the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) and was the former secretary of the AEE Caribbean Chapter.

Dennis Ramsumair – Director / Projects Manager

Mr. Ramsumair is a holder of a first-class honors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the West Indies and an alumnus of the Queen’s Royal College of Trinidad and Tobago. He has been a long standing employee of EDL since 2003. He is fully trained in absorption cooling (BROAD), Building Management Systems (BMS) and has training in solar PV and thermal applications from the Florida Solar Energy Center. He is also a holder of PMP certification. Mr Ramsumair has managed and led some EDL largest projects ensuring proper installation, commissioning and start-up of many systems across the Caribbean.
