Energy Dynamics Limited was established in 2000 by Mr. Andre Escalante due to a growing demand for intelligent energy efficiency services within the Caribbean. The company was envisioned to provide a range of solutions of energy and water management and engineering services, renewable energy technologies and products and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) services and maintenance.

EDL entered the industry by performing ASHRAE energy audits for local and regional clientele across various sectors. The data from these audits and EDL’s growing experience made the company one of the top local companies for energy audits and allowed business expansion to its energy services model.

The company has also been positioned well in the HVAC services and maintenance industry working with clients such as, to name a few:

• UWI Mona Jamaica: Design, Supply and Installation of 9 MW of cogeneration facility comprising of 3 800RT chillers
• Consorico Energetico, Punta Cana: Supply of 2400RT of hot water absorption chillers for cogeneration district cooling project
• Westshore Medical Centre, Trinidad: Design and Installation of energy efficient 200RT natural gas-powered absorption cooling system
• Digicel Global HQ, Jamaica: Installation of 150Rt solar absorption cooling system

EDL developed its Corporate Utility Management Programme (CUMP) which supports energy management, energy efficiency, and renewable energy, indoor environmental quality (IEQ), water management and training and awareness as a designed package to our customers. Through EDL financing, and Energy Performance Contracts (EPC), shared or guaranteed savings, and no initial investment by our customers, EDL has projected and delivered for customers over 15% and up to 40% energy savings to date.

Our CUMP Programme has also won the 2018 Energy Chamber – Best Greenhouse Gas Reduction Project Winner and the runner up in 2019. As well as the 2019 Energy Chamber – Exporter of the Year.
