Energy Efficient Lighting
EDL offers a wide selection of Compact Fluorescent Bulbs available in various
wattaged and in either 220V/240V or 110V/120V, 60 Hz or 50 Hz. Types of
bulbs include candle, spiral, bug lamps and reflectors. A one year warranty
on bulbs is provided. Lighting Energy savings of 80% can be obtained by
retrofitting from incandescent to compact fluorescent. Bulbs are available
in either daylight or warmlight.

Water Conservation Products
EDL provides a range of Niagara
Conservation Corporation water saving devices
such as low flush flapperless toilets, low flow showeheads, aerators, toilet
dams amongst others. Paybacks of fewer than 2 months is very common.

Natural Gas / Diesel Oil Air Conditioning Systems
Air conditioning accounts for over 60% of the energy consumed by buildings.
EDL can design, install and maintain state of the art natural gas / diesel
oil fired absorption air conditioning systems using equipment supplied by
BROAD Air Conditioning Co. Ltd., which will consume 80% less electrical
energy than standard electrical systems. In addition, BROAD's unique systems
can simultaneously provide free hot water for domestic or pool heating applications.
ALERTON Building Automation Systems
 EDL is the Caribbean representative for ALERTON Inc. ALERTON provides 100%
vative BACnet systems (open protocol) and manufactures controllers for the
HVAC industry, as well as complete Building Automation Systems (Fire, Security
Access, Web-based Systems).
PHARAOH Guest Room Controls
 It is a recognised habit of many guests to leave their air conditioning
units operating when they leave their rooms. It has been proven that rooms
are unoccupied for 6 to 8 hours per day, which wastes air conditioning energy.
PHARAOH guestroom controls connected to the air conditioning unit can detect
when a room is unoccupied and will automatically switch off the unit, this
saving energy. Savings of over 20% can be achieved by installing PHARAOH
guestroom controls. Either wired or wireless systems are available.

Energy Engineering Consultancy
Included in the team of professionals at EDL is a Certified Energy Manager
(CEM). The CEM is a designation recognized by the United States Department
of Energy (USDOE) as an individual competent and experienced in Energy Management.
Energy Engineering Services include Energy Audits, Building Systems Design,
Cogeneration Systems Analysis and Feasibility Studies. EDL has numerous
certified engineers experienced in all aspects of facilities engineering
including Hotels, Hospitals and Commercial Buildings.
Maintenance Services
EDL offers effective Facility Preventive Maintenance Services. Our well
trained and experienced technicians can maintain a wide range of equipment
including absorption, centrifugal and screw chillers, pumps and cooling
towers. We offer remote monitoring services which enable us to troubleshoot,
control and monitor equipment via the internet. Our Preventative Maintenance
Services are performed for customers throughout the Caribbean.
Project Financing
EDL can arrange two (2) or three (3) year lease financing options for our
energy efficient products and services. The annual energy savings are usually
greater than the annual lease installments over the lease repayment period,
providing our customers with a New Positive Cash Flow.
